A big yearning to serve, yet a small budget to travel? Most think ‘overseas’ when someone mentions ‘mission trip’ but there are many organizations that could use groups of varying skill levels to help them in their ministry right here in our own state. Lake Aurora is one of those!
We’ve got the projects lined up ready to go. We just need the people and proper funding to get these projects from paper to reality. This could be just the opportunity that your group is looking for.
Close to home, affordable, varying lengths from one day to a week, and benefits thousands - now that’s a mission trip that makes a difference!

WORKDAY - Schedule a day that works for you and your group
We do not have one specific day dedicated to WorkDay. Instead, we encourage individuals and groups to select a day and coordinate it with our staff for a specific project that will work for their skill set and time frame. We hope that this will create a 'win/win' for both the Lake Aurora ministry and the volunteers as well.
